Welcome to my blog!
My cousin suggested that I start a blog. So here I am.

This is not my first rodeo. I wrote a blog years ago as a new music teacher, but the demands of teaching kept me from it and it fizzled quickly. As of last month, I’m a full-time entrepreneur. So I am hopeful that this time around I can keep up with it.
This Is Me

If you have stumbled across this blog without knowing who I am, let me quickly catch you up. I’m Ashley. I’m a mom to 3 wild and wonderful boys. I love coffee, rainbows, and unicorns. If I could live off of cookies, I would. I‘m a singer/songwriter to the core with a soundtrack playing in my mind- it slips out sometimes. If you’re around me, you’ll hear it. I love people and try to live my life in a way that shows others the love of God and bring joy wherever I go.
About 4 years ago, I opened an online boutique as a side hustle to my teaching. Now, I’m expanding Style & Grace to be more than providing beautiful clothing, but helping others do the deep work within to be truly confident in who God made them to be. That started with self-publishing my book, “Choose Joy. Spread Love: a book about faith, hope, and mental health.”
So what’s this blog about anyway?
It’s about going after your dreams, navigating mental health, faith, parenting…
I know it’s probably better to narrow it down, but that’s like asking me to pick only one type of cookie to eat for the rest of my life! There are so many things that I enjoy talking about. What I can tell you is that whatever I’m writing about, it will always be real and honest. I will not pretend to be someone I’m not. I will not try to come across as a hero or someone who has all the answers. But I will share what’s on my heart and try to be kind, encouraging, joyful, and loving in the process.
The truth is, I’m a work in progress. We all are, aren’t we? I am better today than I was yesterday and I’ll be even better tomorrow. Maybe not in a noticeable way, but every day we’re growing. With that in mind, I do my best to give grace to others. Give them the benefit of the doubt and hope their intentions were good even if their actions weren’t. Grace is a verb. It’s not just something we receive, but something we do.
So go ahead and introduce yourself! I want this blog to be a two-way conversation! I will do my best to reply quickly!
